Debbie N. Flood
co-Founder & Executive Director
Debbie Flood is an advocate/social worker/investigator for the Children's Law Center (CLC) in Los Angeles, California, who has devoted her entire professional career to insuring that children and youth grow up safe and healthy-thriving physically, emotionally, and educationally, nurtured by family and community.
As a child advocate for 25 years with the CLC, Debbie investigates reports of alleged child abuse and neglect; makes referrals to services that help improve conditions that endanger the health, safety and welfare of children.
As executive director of the Curt Flood Foundation®, Debbie oversees all aspects of grantmaking for the three major areas of the Foundation; Health & Fitness; Mental Well-Being; Social Relationships.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Debbie was raised in Los Angeles, California, and is the eldest daughter of former St. Louis Cardinals center fielder, Curt Flood.
Curt Flood, Jr.
Curt Flood, Jr. is a career relationship builder, connector, and strategic communications professional, who has successfully driven PR/media relations, publicity, corporate & crisis communications campaigns; across entertainment, sports, emerging media, technology and cause related practice areas, for nearly three decades.
Curt's communications/media relations training began at California Sports, Inc., parent-company of the Los Angeles Lakers; and his corporate communications and CSR experience was honed under former Fox spokesperson, Dennis Petroskey, at Fox Entertainment Group in Los Angeles, California.
Curt has held internal and external senior positions with prominent communications groups, including the nation's preeminent crisis and reputation management firm, Sitrick And Company. Under agency founder & CEO, Michael Sitrick, Curt developed and implemented successful communications strategies for a wide range of crisis and reputation management clients.
A serial relationship-builder, Curt has cultivated and maintains a vast network of healthy tier one business and media relationships among his nearly 6,000 LinkedIn.com connections, including; Forbes List "Celebrity 100" members; C-Level Fortune 500 leadership; a who's who list from C-Level entertainment/Hollywood and sports industries; entertainment and sports luminaries and personalities; bloggers, journalists, editors and producers.
Curt has a passion for pro bono major gift fundraising on behalf of children's health & wellness-related issues; as well as fundraising and friendraising for cost-free youth education, enrichment, and sports programs.
